Watch the practical example

Pilot direction: start with one workspace and expand later.

ObraPad is designed to keep Obra Core as the shared foundation while you add capabilities over time.

Building-specific activation and restricted installer access are being prepared for the pilot and verified end to end. Ask which scopes can currently be tested.

Intended starting point

The pilot direction is to begin with one workspace and add more later.

Planned per-building expansion

The planned flow activates Construction only for the building being renovated; other buildings stay unchanged.

Planned access model

The access model is being developed so an installer or partner can use only the selected building, installation or task.

Intended example: heat pump maintenance

In the intended scenario, the installer only accesses the heat pump, its documents and assigned maintenance tasks in one building. Other buildings, financial information and private documents remain outside the scope. View, change, duration and revocation controls must be proven server-side before availability.

The design keeps an additional workspace and partner access as separate choices, with the building passport as the shared foundation.

Recognise your situation

When do you use this?

Three practical applications. Open the one that suits you.
01Report in the common garage

Today: A problem is reported without a clear location.

Your workflow: Record the report against the garage or installation and link the follow-up.

The result: Less back-and-forth to establish the right context.

02Prepare a meeting

Today: Agenda items, questions and previous decisions are scattered.

Your workflow: Gather the documents and link decisions to follow-up actions.

The result: Less searching and a clearer view of outstanding items.

03Condition report for common areas

Today: The condition at handover or during works must be recorded.

Your workflow: Link from the building to an inspection with photos and comments.

The result: The condition and repairs remain traceable within the correct scope.

Less explaining. Less retyping.

This is how your team
really works together.

What you do here in practice

From daily tasks
to clear follow-up.

Open a feature for a practical example.
01Owners & common areasMake it clear who belongs to which unit and areas.

You: Organise owners, private units and common spaces.

ObraPad helps: Files remain linked without confusing private and common access.

Your benefitFewer duplicate lists and less ambiguity about the scope.
02Resident reportsTrack a report from receipt to resolution.

You: Record the issue, location, priority and people involved.

ObraPad helps: The status and follow-up can continue to track the same report.

Your benefitFewer repeated questions about the current status.
03Meeting & agendaGather the right documents before the meeting.

You: Bring agenda items, documents and outstanding questions together.

ObraPad helps: Existing building information can be reused during preparation.

Your benefitFewer documents to gather again each time.
04Minutes, decisions & votesKeep a record of what was decided and what still needs to be done.

You: Link decisions and follow-up actions; online voting is subject to the applicable product and meeting rules.

ObraPad helps: Meeting AI can support draft minutes; confirmation and the validity of decisions remain separate.

Your benefitLess typing and fewer isolated decisions without follow-up.
05Suppliers & building costsKeep quotations, works and relevant costs together.

You: Track maintenance or repairs in the context of the common areas.

ObraPad helps: Work and documentation remain linked to the building history.

Your benefitLess reconciliation between supplier, report and file.
06Owners & suppliers in their own languageEveryone understands the same work, without a separate conversation for each language.Depending on your configuration
Configuration- or add-on-dependent

You: An owner reports something in their language; the manager and supplier can follow the same conversation in their preferred language.

ObraPad helps: Translation keeps the original, source version, numbers, units and object references recognizable. Available languages and features depend on the configuration.

Your benefitLess copying into translation apps and less repeated explanation; technical or unclear translations remain verifiable.
07Building planning & checksKeep recurring obligations and appointments in view as well.

You: Bring together confirmed maintenance appointments and agreed inspections of the common areas.

ObraPad helps: The schedule and responsible people can refer to Maintenance and Inspection, without separate copies of the evidence.

Your benefitFewer separate planning lists and clearer follow-up.
08History when management changesA decision remains findable when the manager changes.

You: Consult previous reports, approved decisions, supplier agreements and outstanding items.

ObraPad helps: The history remains linked to the common scope and permitted access.

Your benefitLess reconstruction work when a colleague or new manager takes over.
Convenience through automation

Less routine work.
With the right control.

01
According to your rules

Recurring follow-up

Track report status, building context and configured reminders for appointments.

02
With AI support

No need to start again

With Meeting Copilot: organise agenda items and prepare draft minutes and action items.

03
For decisions

You stay in control

Have voting rules, decisions, access and financial commitments reviewed by the authorised people.

You define your workflow and boundaries. Routine can follow those rules; AI helps with preparation; exceptions remain visible. The capabilities you use depend on the available features and your plan.

Without a connected workflow

A report in an email, the quotation elsewhere and the decision only in separate minutes.

With this workspace

Navigate from the report to the quotation, decision and execution within the same building.

How much time could this save you?Your own figures, not a marketing percentage

Make one recurring task measurable.

Formula: number of tasks × (minutes now − minutes after the change) ÷ 60.

Open a calculation example

20 tasks × (15 − 10 minutes) = 100 minutes, or 1 hour and 40 minutes per month.

This is fictitious input, not a predicted product saving. Include checks and any additional actions. A negative result means additional time.

The editable calculation is available when this presentation is opened with JavaScript. Time freed up does not automatically represent a realised cost saving.

What information do we share with other workspaces?

Building · common areas · owners · decisions. You continue working with the same property context; you do not create a second record.

What can I extend here with add-ons?

For example, Copilot assistance with a draft report or extracting data from submitted documents.

An add-on already included in your plan is not offered again. The exact features, limits and any additional price are shown with your configuration.

Practical questions

Good to know.

Can every owner see all documents?

No. The intended configuration distinguishes personal information, private units and common information. Access follows the role and applicable record.

Does this replace the formal meeting and voting rules?

No. The website may show how preparation, documents, decisions and voting are organised, but it cannot promise universal legal validity.
