For clients and accountants · roadmap

Your property data.
Together with your accountant.

Connect rental income, costs, invoices and property overviews with your accountant’s work. The firm keeps working in its own accounting package; access to ObraPad is targeted and revocable.

Explanation prototype · This explanation describes the existing Accountancy roadmap. No accounting package is connected, access granted, export sent or entry posted.

Your accountant can view what you allow.

You stay in control of access. Your accountant does not have to request rental income, costs and invoices again by email each time.

Rentals

Rental income, amounts received and outstanding rent within the selected period.

Costs & supporting documents

Invoices and maintenance costs with a reference to the correct property and underlying documents.

Portfolio

Overview by property, period or company; no mixing of different client records.

Revocable access

Determine which client, properties, data and export permissions are visible. A partner relationship does not grant automatic access.

Practical benefit

Fewer documents to collect, fewer repeated questions and fewer separate spreadsheets.

For accounting firms
Product direction · Accountancy roadmap

One firm. Multiple property clients.

The accountant sees an overview of only those clients who have granted access. The firm can also offer ObraPad and help clients with setup and use.

Professional client support

Client portfolio, income, costs, missing documents and periodic report preparation.

Keep your accounting package

Export and, later, a verified API/connector support the transfer; ObraPad does not automatically become your statutory accounting system.

Partner & onboarding

Propose packages, support clients and track commercial status through the partner programme.

Separate permissions

A sales representative does not automatically see clients’ financial data. Partner fees are governed by a separate approved agreement.

Practical benefit

Less record reconstruction and more room for advice. Partner and advisory income are possibilities, not a revenue guarantee.

Connect without duplicate bookkeeping

From property data
to the right accounting process.

1. Targeted access

The client chooses the organisation, properties, data categories and permissions. Inviting or referring a client is not the same as access to data.

2. Controlled export

The first planned integration layer is CSV, Excel, PDF or JSON with source period and record references. Formats and availability are verified before use.

3. API & accounting connector

Next come read-only connections for each package and client. Show the latest synchronisation and errors; a configured connector is not yet proof of a current exchange.

4. Review & processing

Accounting processing remains with the authorised process. A receipt confirmation or export does not mean that an entry has been posted, paid or checked for tax purposes.

No real amounts or client data are used. No file has been sent and no entry has been posted.

Two directions, not the same work twice.

For the client: collaborate with the accountant. For the firm: support multiple clients and offer ObraPad as a partner. This is separate from ObraPad’s own internal administration. It is not silently added as an eleventh general workspace to this ten-entry review catalogue.

Pilot direction: start with one workspace and expand later.

ObraPad is designed to keep Obra Core as the shared foundation while you add capabilities over time.

Building-specific activation and restricted installer access are being prepared for the pilot and verified end to end. Ask which scopes can currently be tested.

Intended starting point

The pilot direction is to begin with one workspace and add more later.

Planned per-building expansion

The planned flow activates Construction only for the building being renovated; other buildings stay unchanged.

Planned access model

The access model is being developed so an installer or partner can use only the selected building, installation or task.

Intended example: heat pump maintenance

In the intended scenario, the installer only accesses the heat pump, its documents and assigned maintenance tasks in one building. Other buildings, financial information and private documents remain outside the scope. View, change, duration and revocation controls must be proven server-side before availability.

The design keeps an additional workspace and partner access as separate choices, with the building passport as the shared foundation.
